The impressive hotel lobby of exemplary sculptures of marine fauna are perched recreating a truly gigantic aquarium, defined by grand pillars.

For Kids

The Hakuna Matata (no worries) Club is a relaxed and loving atmosphere Free of Charge (for clients staying in the Monte da Quinta Hotel only) for ages 4 – 12yrs , in which children are free to explore, learn and create through play. Opening Hours : 10:00 – 13:00 &  14:00 – 17:00

The daily program is displayed on the information board in the Hakuna Matata Club.

• Monte da Quinta hotel guests cannot reserve the Hakuna Matata Club in advance.
• Each child has to be signed in and out by an adult, presentation of an ID is mandatory.
• Closed one day per week -­‐(Time schedules may change according to seasons)
• Please note parents are not allowed in the Hakuna Matata Club.
• Due to space and insurance restrictions there is a maximum capacity of 25 children.

The Quinta Creche – 6 months to 36 months
The Creche features a relaxed and loving atmosphere, in which children are free to explore,

learn and create through play.

Here they  supervise children from 6 months to 36 months on an hourly, half day or full day basis at a service charge with 1 to 1 supervision.

The Quinta Creche is open daily 09:30 to 17:30.

Arrangements can also be made to include lunch. Reservations are mandatory.

Price : €17,00 per hour/per child.

Babysitting Service at Night in addition to the kids’ program private babysitter service can be arranged in the comfort of your own suite.

24Hr advanced booking is compulsory. Price : €17,00 per hour/up to 3 siblings.

Summer Outdoor Fun – for 4 to 12 years of age : During the summer school holidays we offer daily outdoor activities for all ages. Joining is free for all ages and  there is no signing in and out. The activities will be posted on our daily board. Not all activities will be supervised and Monte da Quinta Resort cannot be held responsible for unsupervised children. The outdoor activities will be active from mid July to end of August.

Indoor Pool : Heated Pool is heated to 25° C and is open during opening hours of the spa. Children under 16 may use the heated pool during the following hours with adult supervision only : Heated Pool for Children : 12.00-­‐16.00hrs . Babies must wear swimming nappies in the pool under all circumstances. Parents must take responsibility for their children and respect spa clients. Spa attendants may ask clients to leave at their discretion should this not be respected. There is no lifeguard on duty.

Services

The hotel provides guests with a full support service including a 24 hour reception desk, a Clubhouse with various leisure activities such as gymnasium, steam bath, Jacuzzi and heated indoor pool (cost for use €5 per suite per day or €7.50 per villa per day), an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and a Kids Club. In the MQ Shopping you will find the health & beauty clinic “Persona”, a hair dresser, the “Gourmet shop” with specialties, and 1st need products, the “Trattoria da Quinta” a coffee shop & take a way, a newspaper shop and the Monte da Quinta merchandising shop. Design Holidays are also delighted to advise that we have an exclusive agreement with Monte da Quinta offering our clients a Free Shuttle Bus Service to the Beach from 1st July – 4th Sept.

Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is the key point within the Resort for adults and children. There you can find the “Quinta Café” with its big terrace, “Quinta Restaurant”, as well as the main adults and children’s pool, the Kid’s Club, the Health club with indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, steam bath, gymnasium and a massage room.

Reception

Open 24 hours a day, the hotel reception is ready to take up any encounter or problem which may arise, and also provide clients with Reservations for Restaurant’s, Golf, Boat Trips, Excursions, Waterslide parks, Bikes etc…

Shopping

A shopping area is also available on the resort. MQ Shopping our guests can find from a Newsagent to a souvenir shop and also an Italian trattoria with take away service and a gourmet shop. The Health and beauty clinic is also located in this area.

Yacht

When seen from the sea, the Algarve coast line is somewhat impressive. The resort has their very own MQ Club yacht with full day or half day visits. The full day visit includes lunch and drinks on board. The half day visit only includes drinks on board.
